	Although ambient at first, this tune goes into melody, and then becomes what most people would consider actual trance. Then it slowly falls out of trance and slows to stop. Lots of people like this one.

	Story Behind the Song Two and a half months ago (today being 24 Jul 2001), I played a game called Parsec, which has some really good music done by another MP3.com artist (STEV).... I was inspired to write trancExplorer. At the time of first writing the idea down it was 1:30; I assumed I'd hit about 5 minutes or so and be done, but it kept getting longer and longer, until it became 8:02! Definitely the longest song I've ever written. Many times this song was somewhat under risk of abandonment (although it was further along than most of my tunes ever get, so I guess that's saying something), but I'd say another woman (I really need to stop writing music because of women) inspired me enough to finish this song, and she probably knows who she is.
