This song is a slow, tasty ballad complete with acoustic guitars, sweet bluesy melody and a slow-hand guitar solo. Story Behind the Song
This song was recorded at Stepping Stone studios in Seattle, Washington and mixed at Avast Studios, also in Seattle. The song took only about a half hour to write. For some reason, it just flowed like melted butter. Our goal in recording this song was to try to make it vibe like "Creep" by Stone Temple Pilots. Although this song is a bit more upbeat and bluesy than Creep, the natural tones and lack of effects on the vocals and drums give the sound of the recording a real "living room" quality. All the tracks for the song pretty much went down in one take (even the guitar solo!).

    Lyrics
Listen, people listen as I say.
    Listen, throw your selfishness away.
Listen, what you dream is what you are.
Listen, to the trembling of a star.

I got just my point of view
I hope you have one too.

Listen, hope you listen as I sing.
Listen, let the voice of freedom ring.
Listen, what you dream is what you are.
Listen, to the trembling of a star.

I got just my point of view
I hope you have one too.
