Prodigal's first song about finding true happiness by dying daily to the flesh. By Tom. Arranged by Mitch and Paul
    Credits: Lead Vocals: Paul Huyghebaert

    Story Behind the Song
Tom had some cool lyrics that he had put on the shelf for a while. After writing the chorus, he pulled the words off the shelf and applied them to the song. LNF helped arrange the vocals in September by letting us arrange on their eight-track.

    Lyrics
    Chorus:
I will daily die to have your annointing
And I will Testify to your appointing
When you come a sky, father tell me the story
That I'll be raised on high with you in glory
    I'm not worthy.
    Vs.1:
Clouded sunlight in the day break
That blinds our eyes to constant night in the morning when we wake
    Hidden shadows of empty faces
Random sillhouettes of people trying to go places
And the cycle continues we're trapped in the darkness
And every moment that passes I wonder what love is this?
    Vs.2:
Is there hope and a true love?
Can I call upon my father in the heavens up above?
All around me the world is sinking
Deeper in addiction of the lies they've been drinking
To taste the despair and to see the demise
How has this world not seen this disguise
I really want to open your eyes
Look up to the heavens with salve on your eyes
Look up to the heavens and cry
    Bridge:
On my knees I call out to you and my heart
    hears your word as true
The empty void where I had been
Takes me back to way back when
To this cell where I can't break the chains
Until that day I called out your name...
