    Story Behind the Song
This song came about after long discussions among
the band members about rock legends of the past
that seemed to have burned bright and left us
in a blaze of "glory" for lack of a better word.
Names like Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Tommy Bolin
came to mind among others. That, coupled with some
of our own experiences blended together to
make this song, Legends. One of the more popular
    songs we do live.

    Lyrics
Morning sun is rising, you're on the road again
Country air the city lights, your patience wearing thin
Times you can't remember who the hell you are
Pull yourself together and go on to play the star
    chorus-
    In time you've grown older
    And time keeps passing by
    The minutes turn to hours
The hands of time they fly
They can't turn back the hands of time
    No matter how they try
Want to be a legend 'cause legends never die.

The crowd is always waiting just outside the door
No matter what you have to give they want a little more
They're the ones that made you who you are today
So sign your autograph, exausted walk away.
    Repeat chorus.
    Bridge and guitar solo

Hotel rooms and alcohol consume the life you lead
Sleeping pills and lines of white, they give you what you need
At times you can't remember who the hell you are
Pull yourself together and go on to play the star

    Chorus and out.
