	Story Behind the Song When one works with teen age kids, one becomes aware of how quickly life is going by. Lyrics for my kids already half way there I don’t want to finish life’s like a good book that I know will end so slow down and savor each word the sound of each syllable an individual citizen with her own voice her own moment to splash cold clear meaning on my face at dawn on the mid-summer day of my life your eyes and the way you hold your head reads like the beginning of a mystery and you can’t wait to see who gets it, get the facts forget the clues, skip to the last page and toss it while I laugh smile and cry for your recklessness rejuvenates my blood clears the soot from my pores and drives me insane with joy and jealousy until I remember that living is not rocket science but then again what is?
