	Story Behind the Song This was one of those songs that just rolled off of the guitar one night. The whole thing took maybe an hour to write. Lyrics All through the night you cry in your sleep. And you're thinking, "Oh my, it's passing me by, ain't nothing, what it seems." So you find a new friend, you swear in the end she'll show you what it means. You're looking for love to prove you're alive. And you find it defies the logic of mind, can heaven be far behind. Tell me why can I never be free. The darkness approaches as midnight arrives.
