A combination of a quasi-Police style meets Im not sure who... melodic pop rock. This tune could have been produced
a number of ways,edgier,softer,but its
sort of 'hooky' and fun.

Story Behind the Song
Gary's words:"I wanted to write a nice melodic pop tune with a memorable,
or at least hummable hook of a chorus.
I like that kind of music and I attempt to write that way sometimes,it's really
hard to write simply but with substance.
And guess initally l wanted to write a kind of police-like tune but it turned in to a warmer sounding track and not so raw and trio-ish like the early Police stuff. I think it was one full day of recording.i think it was sixteen track analog.
Lyrics
Your trying my patience all the time
Just making sure that you know
Please do not test me or you might
get the results that you dreaded so,
Imposing you will upon my soul
Love was your open door
Rewire my thinking to suit your life
Lik the kid in the candy store
You you left me for a fool
For love you were much too cool
wont be the object of your hatred
try your luck with joan of arc 'cause baby I am sacred
Chorus:
look look you better look much harder
look much harder if you wanna know me
rpt.
You can't make me hate you save your breath,
I love that should be clear,
for all your high standards you can hear love whispered in your ear.
your crossing the line for all to see,
so diplomatically,
with holllow flirtation idle hints,
dispensing affection like after dinner mints.
You, you, left me for a fool for love you were much too cool.
Won't be the object of your hatred
try your luck with joan of arc 'cause baby
I am sacred.
Chorus repeats.
