It was supposed to be our ballad. It sorta comes close -- at least by Bigwiggy standards. |

Story Behind the Song
This song was written with the idea that it would be played when the Bigwigs were going to break up (since it was inevidable.) Sadly, in actuality, it was Sergeant Spooge that was the Bigwigs final hurrah. Maybe that's fitting since it was our most popular song.
Lyrics
Just like when you slammed that door in my face.
And the time that you broke my nose.
All good times must come to and end,
And then everyone gets up and goes...
I see you walk out of that door,
Just before my face hits the floor.
You left me with scars on my chest,
And an irreversible case of impotence.
I try not to think of how things once were.
Memories of happier days are now just a blur.
But now that you've said your good-bye,
It's time for me to stop living this lie...
Oh please don't leave me!
You've still got my credit card!
Forgetting about you,
Almost makes me get hard...
Now that I'm broke and have a kid,
I'm almost glad at what you did.
Leave me behind but remember me.
Maybe one day you'll finally see.
How much I loved you
And how much you meant to me...
Oh please don't leave me!
You've still got my credit card!
Forgetting about you,
Almost makes me get hard...
Please don't leave me.
Please don't leave me.
Behind. Behind you...
