	Story Behind the Song This is actually an older song that I re-recorded for this album. There's a looped drum track - some conga percussion - a couple guitars and vocals. My wife Lisa sings backups. She is actually a fantastic classically trained jazz vocalist - but she purposely gave this song a simple and laxadaisical feel. The lyrics? well - let's just say i've got a penchant for insects and nonsensical word play. Lyrics she awoke with a lightning bug ligature fixed just under her upper lip - erogenous time zones tell their stories to the dirt -crumble pie crap shoot journeymen transporting fireproof asbestos insect villages indented gorillas arrived just in time for grandfather's feeble escape - he wouldn't admit his mistake so his daughter - her mother's grand entrance was something to see - so they tell me anyway oops - forgot to say... in some circles - plaid pinata rehearsels are frowned upon to some degree - this superficial residue excuse for a town deserves no worse than the best i can deliver - but then again... there would not have been those urban myths that speak of a time before the great rhine when all of the spiders were kept in mason jars and drove little cars around the town and turned all those frowns upside down but not to avail - when they tried to set sail - the neighbors next door invited them over for butterfly fondue - and not to seem rude - they obliged and spun silken sweaters all night - but intended for all... St. Peter - St. Paul St. Horace - St. Gulliver - patrons of Tarantula Boulevard
