Top Hit (#12)!! Classic art rock (album oriented) with a driving beat, strong vocals and killer keyboard and guitar solos similar in style to old Genesis, Kansas, Styx etc.. This tune was the sountrack for an award winning video "Minstrel Pirates" viewed by over 250 million viewers internationally. Filmed on a real pirate ship (see photos/artwort for picture) in a remote cove on Catalina island, complete with firing cannons, oh yes, and of course, live belly dancers! Story Behind the Song
All Through the night was a song that started with guitar riff that evolved into cool rhythm with the help of Tommy Ammato (drums) and Doug Deringer (bass). They really laid down a cool rhythm track that I later hammered into a song. It was eventually remastered at the famous hollywood studio called Westlake, home of Fleetwood Mac and Michael Jackson (Thriller and more).
Lyrics
(Verse #1)Morninglight breaks through the night, you're not with me! All day long my thoughts are still with you. Every moment seems like an eternity. When you're gone I'm so alone and blue. And Oh it feels so good to have you near me, no words can quite explain. And when the darkness fades into the moonlight, I need to hold you tight, All Through the night..(chorus)All through n i g h t ! (Verse #2) When I was a younger man I thought I knew everything I needed to get by. Then you came into my life and changed my view! Now I need your love to satisfy! And Oh it feels so good to have you near me, no words can quite explain. And when the darkness fades into the moonlight, I need to hold you tight, All Through the night..(chorus)All through n i g h t !
