Story Behind the Song
On the way home from dropping off my kids one day, I was listening to Latin music on the radio. Several different grooves got stuck in my head. This thing just sort of popped out. All of the parts are completely improvised. I created a drum machine groove and then just started faking things together, beginning with tuba and working my way up to the screaming trumpet. It was entirely recorded in one day. The mix was done later.
