	Story Behind the Song Anybody can write an 'anti' song. It's not hard to sing about the things that piss you off. Society, government, politics; I do it all the time. Many people do. This song is about taking the time to realize that, while no form of government and country is perfect (far from it), the time will come to ask yourself, "Where would I rather be?" And every time, my answer is the same. I guess a more blunt way of saying it is: "If you really can't stand it, pony up-- and get the fuck out." Lyrics Everyday you rise and you shine underneath peaceful skies. And when you close your eyes do you realize the sacrifice? You follow volition, your conscience will be your guide. Despite these conditions you still find time to criticize. All I want to hear, is that you empathize When I take my hat off to the ones that died. I’m not saying it's right, every plan and design.. But they died in the line while protecting my life. Everyday you read and you write what you feel inside. Imagine life without the right to live the way that you decide. You practice religion, petition for equal rights. Imagine a life where volition is penalized. Everyday you strive for advancement, financially. A fair day of work for a small taste of luxury. Imagine a life where the strife is longevity. A rifle and knife are the means to your salary! All I want to hear, is that you’re satisfied With the answer I give when you ask me why. I’m not shy to admit and I’ll stand by my pride. When I take off my hat to the one’s that have died!
