Just Eddie and his 1958 smoke green Gretsch Anniversary model (guitar). This rockabilly ditty is the artist's final legacy. The song came to Eddie just days before his death in 1965. One evening after dinner, Eddie went down to his basement home studio to get the melody out of his head and on tape. He plugged in, and managed to get 50 seconds of the basic song concept recorded. He planned to return later and polish it up, but, never got the chance. 34 years after his death, the work tape was discovered while making selections for Eddie's tribute CD, titled, "A Farewell Legacy". The tape was in poor condition from age, however, this track was crystal clear. It was brought into the studio, edited, and re-mixed into a complete 2 minute song to add as a bonus track on the CD. Later, the song was licensed by the Rockabilly Hall of Fame for one of their compilation CDs. If not for fate, this one could have very well fallen through the cracks of time. Instead, it was reborn into the digital era. |

Lyrics
I'm gonna' make-a you love-a me Baby.
I'm gonna' make-a you mine.
I'm gonna' make-a you kiss-a-me Honey,
taste your lips of wine.
I'm gonna' make-a you want-a my lovin'
I'm gonna' hold you tight.
I'm gonna' make-a little turtle dovin'...
every day and night.
(repeat both verses twice)
I'm gonna' make-a you love-a me Baby.
I'm gonna' make-a you mine.
I'm gonna' make-a you kiss-a-me Honey,
taste your lips of wine.
(repeat last verse)
