	Story Behind the Song An artist once related to me that he stood in a field holding up his canvas and let the wind spread the paint across it. I always enjoyed that image of the wind painting the canvas. I like to think of music making as the act of sending out colors of sound into the wind to carry to the listener. In this piece I used alternating time signatures to attempt a seamless flow of rich arpeggios, definitely intended to give a sense of relaxation.
