Story Behind the Song
There are many hidden things in this composition. The fuge is from Ravel's "Tombeau de Couperin". Ravel himself never orchestrated this movement and and therefore its rarely heard. I think it is one of the most beautiful fugues I've ever heard. The middle section occurs during the development of the fugue and goes into a solo section between the Tenor and Soprano sax (Desdemona (soprano sax) and Othello (Tenor sax). After the solo section, it goes back into the fuge and finishes.
