    Story Behind the Song
This song was written at a rather frustrating time in my life when I felt that I was stagnating in my daily existance and found myself somewhat trapped and numb.

Upon seeing Rod Serling's "Stop over in a small town" from the famous Twilight Zone TV show, I became inspired and thus the metaphor was born.

    Lyrics
Around another Corner, a freedom wind begins to blow
but the only stop is centerville and there's no place else to go
    These cardboard trees last forever,
and there's no telling whether it will stop, in the near future or not

Do you know the way out?
Please tell me if you know
You gotta get me out of Centerville
Is this real or just a joke
I can't remember the last time I've felt something real, except the feel of this cold hard steel

In a dream believed so quickly, in a refuge we call sleep
It seems so real and solid until we try to leave
I can hear the whistle blowing but there's no way of knowing if this will change, will things remain the same

I keep on asking people if they know the way to go
Is there someone up there watching as we walk out on the road
Can this dream last forever, Cause there's no telling whether this will stop in the near future or not
