This is a very cool song. I would recommend this highly. 'Dancin' in the Rain' has a unique feel for most songs of its genre, yet it works extremely well.

    Story Behind the Song
There is no real story behind this song, which is amazing for me. When posed with the question, "why?...the answer is merely, "because." To me 'Dancin' in the Rain' means being happy with whatever is thrown your way. Make whatever situation you're in a good one because there is no use being miserable. Now that I think about it, this song totally describes everything that is me. Nice. Alot of my songs talk about things that might not be considered happy (rain for example), but there is usually an upside in my music. That is usually the general theme of my music. I guess that it's because I feel people spend too much of their time concentrating on what's wrong instead of what's right. Go figure.

Rain is, on occasion, a central theme in my lyrics. There are a couple reasons for that. The first is that I like rain. Without rain, the weather outside would be so predictable and boring. However, I do prefer that it doesn't rain on golf days or days that it is cold and I have no jacket. Second, personalities are a lot like the weather and I enjoy describing them that way. However, there are so many things to describe us with, why choose weather? Well, this is just a few of my songs...not all, but every artist in an art museum has his or her style. You can always recognize a Picasso when you see it. I am not, by any means, comparing myself with Picass but you see what I'm getting at. It's my style.

    Lyrics
And she says to me...it's finally over
Can't make believe, this is me
It's been a long time comin'

    Pre-chorus:
One stop on a small street corner
Look into myself, I don't wanna see
    Everything that you have seen
    And everything you make-believe
    It's been a long time...comin' home

    Chorus:
And when it all came pouring down
And people started laughin' and dancin' in the rain
And when it all came crashing down
And everyone said, it will never be the same
Cause we're dancin' in the rain

And nothing's wrong until you try
    Just try to believe...can't make-believe
One step, in front of the other...
Cause it's under-cover...don't ever go under

You're eyes...are green as the trees
I'd swim in your seas...aren't you ever please

    ~~~~~Pre-chorus~~~~~
