	A slow march, played on two tenor recorders to the beat of a low bodhran, this depicts the scene of an army captain lamenting over a lost battle, watching the enemy troops marching ever nearer to demand of him his surrender. 	Story Behind the Song This was, if memory recalls, the first piece Greg, the composer, showed me of his, and in my opinion his best. It is one we have played together many times in gigs and sessions, and the only reason he has not taken one of the parts in this recording is that he was not available at the time. Still, although unheard, he is the second musician on this track.
