Story Behind the Song
The lyrics revolve around a comparison between ancient steamships and old blues signers ("I holler in the smoke just like a steam battleship's foghorn").
The song was written between sets somwhere on tour, in a truly smoky smelly lowlife joint, outback in the canadian countryside.
It was very much another onetaker from our record. Actually, we ended up using the ghost track on this one, recorded in the control room with a handheld 58 and you can almost hear the engineer laughing at some point in the third verse.
