One of the first Eesifreek songs, and it still finds it's way into the occasional setlist to this day! |
CD: "Two Days In September"
Label: Dazed Productions

Story Behind the Song
Written literally within minutes, this was James & Jamie on a Saturday afternoon.
James started idly playing with the riff & Jamie just started putting the words to it.
Everything fell into place very quickly. Nick arrived at the door in time to hear the mid 8 being written & put down some rhythm guitar on the original demo that was recorded at the time (and can be found within the official website!)
The song was taken up a pace in the rehearsal room & turned into the version you hear on this site.
Lyrics
I See You
Caught in the shade - but its not warm
All these words, words that hurt and scorn.
You bring me down, you make me cry
Feeling vulnerable, like a child.
I see you - I see me
I see you - I see me
Give me something to believe.
Why they do it, I dont know
Eesifreek out on show
You bring me down, you make me hide
While Im left, left here to decide
I see you - I see me
I see you - I see me
Give me something to believe.
Crowded room, Im alone
All these people, my paranoia grows....
I see you - I see me
I see you - I see me
Give me something to believe
Words - Jamie Tayler / Music - James Hingley
