	Nathaniel Shelley of Transposer had a title in Welsh - "Mae'r Anifeiliaid yn Cysgu" - and asked me if I could write a poem/lyric for some music he had in mind.

	Story Behind the Song Nathaniel asked me to write this in Welsh and as I am learning the language it was an ideal opportunity to expand my field and I agreed. Here it is in Welsh and English: Lyrics The animals are sleeping through the darkness and the cold Mae'r anifeiliaid yn cysgu drwy'r tywyllwch a'r oerfel, The animals are sleeping deep underground, Mae'r anifeiliaid yn cysgu ddwfn dan ddaer' The snake is sleeping too, Mae'r neidr yn cygu hefyd, The snake lies coiled Mae'r neidr wedi torchu But who will wake her? Ond pwy sydd yn codi ohonni hi? The animals are sleeping Mae'r anifeiliaid yn cysgu Waiting for the light, Yn aros am y golau, The animals are sleeping Mae'r anifeiliaid yn cysgu Waiting for the dark Yn aros am y nos. The owl is not sleeping Dydy'r dylluan ddim yn cysgu For she is wise. Ond mae hi'n ddoeth. But what about the dragon? Ond beth am y ddraig? She sleeps under the mountain. Mae hi'n cysgu o dan y mynydd.
