Story Behind the Song
Having long been a fan of the music of Genesis I had noodled around with an idea in a sort of d-minor area which I had been inspired to come up with by listening to "Mad Man Moon" from their 1976 album "A Trick Of The Tail." The "chorus" parts (in F Major) came from toying with ideas for melody and voice-leading which I learned in college over the last year. The whole thing took about six hours to get right, this stretched across two days due to work and everything else. Well worth it, though, as this one has by far been the most fun.
