Story Behind the Song
This song was written over three schooners in my local pub one night. I was feeling a bit edgy and thought I'd go and drown my sorrows. I started writing lyrics on TAB (gambling) cards and within an hour I had a full song. The rest I worked out on my guitar one rehearsal. It deals with a close encounter with death on a winding mountain road. I used to do time trials growing up in the Adelaide hills, Australia. Recorded in my home studio in Sydney, Australia on a four track minidisc recorder. Then dumped to a Macintosh G3, mixed and burnt to CD. Thanks to Gnarly Wasabi for the jam!
