	Story Behind the Song The music to this song was written almost entirely at a jam session we had after Christmas, 1998. Patrick Stone had just got a new effects pedal and he wanted to write a song that allowed him to use his favorite effect: wah wah. It took him almost no time to come up with a main riff. I put some heavy power chords to the riff and it sounded pretty good. Patrick then added an intro, and then later a solo. One night we wanted to record this new tune, but realized we didn't have any lyrics to go with the music. Then Micheal told us he had written some lyrics. We looked at them, changed them a little to fit the music, and then incorporated them into the song. There was only one thing missing, a name. We had always called it the "Wah song", because of the effect. We decided to keep the name, only change it a little to make it sound like something mysterious, and hence the name "Wahsa".
