	Story Behind the Song This "chick tune" was inspired by our new guitar player (Mike Gable) during his early playing days. Courtney added lyrics, and with Dan and Greg finalizing the arrangement, the "top-ten single" was born. We all knew this song is a hit, and we have yet to play it for someone who doesn't think this is our flagship tune (even though it represents a fraction of our true sound). Once again, like all the tracks on this CD, it was recorded using the BOSS BR-8 digital portastudio in Dan's garage (four mics on the drums, no special room acoustical treatments, etc.). This is truly a testament to just how far along home digital recording has come. We will never again pay top $$ for recording time again! Anyway, this tune was recorded over a three week period, during after work hours and rehearsal times. Mix down was accomplished by using a digital line into a standard home stereo component CD burner. As much as the chicks like this tune, it's ironic that the lyrics tell of a guy getting smothered by a girlfriend and ultimately breaking up with her. But such is life, no?
