Story Behind the Song
The song "Radio Stars" celebrates the half-century-old medium known as "rock and roll radio" and all the nostalgia associated with it to this very day. Frontman Lizzie Grey recalls the heyday of the Sunset Strip in Hollywood with this song, potentially the most commercial effort on this album, and one that always gets requested at the band's live shows.
Lyrics
1st Verse:
You're all alone on the road feeling like rock and roll, to feel at home tonight. The music's on your favorite song so you turn it up - you're gonna burn it up tonight!
chorus: TURN ON THE RADIO, TURN ON YOUR RADIO STARS, TURN ON THE RADIO, TURN ON YOUR RADIO STARS
2nd Verse:
You like to move you can feel the groove of the drummer man, as he takes your mind so high. You know its real cause it makes you fell like you know it should, feeling good tonight
CHORUS (REPEAT)
LEAD GUITAR SOLO (with misc. DJ clamour)
CHORUS: TURN ON YOUR RADIO, TURN ON YOUR RADIO STARS, TURN ON YOUR RADIO, TURN ON YOUR RADIO STARS
