	Story Behind the Song I wrote it on the way to the subway one morning. I had just been to the bagel store and seeing the gloom and doom on the front page of the tabloids while everyone in the store was greeting eachother with "How ya doin' chief?" etc. inspired me to pay tribute to my people in song. Lyrics How's it going Mary? What't the story Joe? How ya doing Willie? How's it hanging Flo? Give me five McCloskey. Como esta Jose? That's how New Yorkers greet eachother each and every day.
