This song honors the memory of people I was once close to who have since gone on with their own lives. I know that we will never be the way we once were and that is life, so this song will always remind me of what once was. Meloncholy but hopeful for the future, this songs style is reminiscent of the Barenaked Ladies. |

Story Behind the Song
This song was written in a hotel room in Cleveland, Oh. I had brought a four-track and acoustic guitar and stayed up half the night drinking wine and recording. This song honors the memory of lost friends and family who have moved away or out of my life.
