	The first song I wrote and completed as a tribute to Leo. The one I'd nervously try to play to him, given the chance. 'Wendy' is the saintly co-worker who introuduced me to Leo's magnificent music.
	Story Behind the Song Originally was intended as two different songs, but I melded then together because I believed that it worked better as one than as separate songs. The title is a grin to Leo's quirky song titles. Wendy Merkley (http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/24/wendy_jones_merkley.html) worked together at a gas station on Bowen Island, and were having a conversation one day about guitarists that could sing over complex guitar parts - she mentioned Leo Kottke and I had never heard of him before. She grabbed a mixed tape full of Leo's music on both sides out of her truck, told me I could keep it, and I've been a fan of Leo ever since that night, the first time I listened to him.
