	Story Behind the Song This song happened by accident. I was playing with a melody and thought I was going to write a love song. When the last line of the chorus popped in though, the song took a whole new direction. The song took about 30 minutes to write and no more than 4 hours to record and mix. I listen to it when ever I need to tell myself to lighten up. Lyrics Chorus: Have you ever had a day in your lifetime, when everything you did turned out right. where no matter what you do, you just can't lose. Well, brother, neither have I. 1. When I got up this morning, I couldn't find my shoes. I ate burnt toast for breakfast and listened to the morning news. 2. I wandered down to the office, strapped on the shackles and chains. I worked like a dog all morning, but the boss chewed me out just the same. 3. I came home to a frozen dinner, watched some wrestling on TV. And I pondered the age old question, who the hell would want to be me. 4. When I die and go to heaven, my tombstone is gonna read, with hard work and perseverence, you could end up here just like me.
