	this is a stripped-down, synth and vocals-based version of a song i write a few years ago. it was originally played in my rather loud 3-piece band in atlanta, georgia, but i think it would lend itself to any of a number of styles: country-ish/acoustic, vocal pop/boy band-type stuff... you be the judge.

	Story Behind the Song motivation? it's just a song, come on! the hook popped into my head and would not leave, so i dealt with it. i can't recall exactly, but chances are the song was written at my kitchen table in atlanta, georgia, and most certainly there was beer or coffee within reach. it took only a bit longer to write than the length of the song itself. this one just jumped out onto the page. if only they could all come out this effortlessly... i recorded this version on saturday, 28 april 2001. i've recorded two previous versions, one with a band in a studio and one here in my home studio, pretending to be a band.
