Wonderful, Beatlesque love song, with lots of layered harmonies and strings of all kinds: cello, violin, guitar, bass. Such a favorite, the band made a video of this song, which won a few national awards and aired between movies on AMC's Romance Channel. Featured on NBC-TV's Homicide-Life On The Streets," and ABC-TV's "One Life To Live." |
Story Behind the Song
One of the most wonderful things in life is falling in love, and this songs tries to express that instance, the change of attitude and emotion falling in love brings. Unlike other LOVE RiOT songs which are often completely recorded in a day, the addition of cello and the mass layering of vocals made recording this stretch into a couple long nights. But the result was worth it. Recorded at Oz Studios in Baltimore, MD.
Lyrics
She walks, she runs, she tries to hide
from all the feelings deep inside--
no way to get away from this.
She stops, she starts, she tries to move
a little closer for a clue--
could there be something more to this?
Oooo, Sometimes A Feeling
Oooo, Sometimes A Feeling
Oooo, Sometimes A Feeling
changes and it changes things.
He looks, he laughs, he tries to speak
the silent language that he sees...
so many messages to send.
He stops, he starts, he tries to write
what's in his heart and on his mind
hoping the story never ends.
Oooo, Sometimes A Feeling
Oooo, Sometimes A Feeling
Oooo, Sometimes A Feeling
changes and it changes things.
They toss, they turn, they spin around
falling on dreams that they forgot
and love much larger than life.
They give, they take, they balance out
mistakes that used to hold them down--
something new sparkles in the light.
