Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song just after I lost my
right thumb in a horrific accident
(not a good career move for a piano player, huh?)
A year after the accident God miraculously
grew my thumb back to normal length!
Olivia came to the studio and sang this song with so much passion.
It's a song about living your life for God,
Just out of gratiude for who He is.
It's about sseing God for who He is,
the mighty, majestic King of Glory.
No matter what life may bring,
there's always a friend who cares for you.
Doesn't matter where you've been,
doesn't matter what you've done.
If you can learn to hangin there and trust God,
in the end everything will work out fine.
By the time you finish listening I hope you believe too!
Lyrics
Behold a door
Standing open in heaven-
We see the King of Glory there
LORD I'm on my way
and when I meet You there
I will worship You
In Spirit and truth
In the sancuary of Your holiness (x2)
At the cross
My Saviour is waiting
His grace and mercy draw me there
LORD You paid the price
You gave Your life
So I present myself
A living sacrifice
And I will praise and glorify You with my life
Jesus, my Saviour
You're my oil of joy, my King
You're my everything
I will worship You
In Spirit and truth
In the sancuary of Your holiness
I present myself
A living sacrifice
And I will praise and glorify You with my life.
