Don't know if this quite fits the genre, but here goes: it's slow, it's sad, it's more than a little too much like Radiohead for me. |

Story Behind the Song
This was composed and recorded in one night of "she's gone, I can't sleep, what else do I have to do?"
The vocals are still of "scratch" quality, but hey, at least we've got *some* kind of mix up.
Lyrics
Another night is falling, another dreamless sleep.
Is the world mine or yours or somewhere in between?
Should the lights go down when the other is away?
If someone cares, it doesn't matter what I say.
Sick of the drama, sick of the play, no cameras in the room.
Going to home now, no home to go, please, Doctor, speed my doom.
A throne of chairs greets a king absent in his stead.
If I relinquish control, who lives in my head?
Too close to be close by if stability comes down.
Living for weighing new lives, buying by the pound.
CHORUS
Right here isn't right now.
Driving an afternoon to throw smoke in the air.
If everyone died would there be a time to care?
CHORUS
