	Acoustic guitarist battles it out with an electric guitarist, each alternating between lead and a "walkin' rhythm" accompaniment (see free sheet music under photos). A "non sequitur" is a "red herring" or just plain illogical, like when you say NO, I say YES, over and over and over. A yes is a yes is a yes, but a "maybe" is a yes is a no-no inside. Dont' inspect the obvious too closely lest you discover your folly bares tendons better left covered. Take it at face value, for what its worth--non sequitur is not deception but divergence from conformity--that is, freedom!

	Story Behind the Song The standard Jazz-Blues changes, complete with extended and short ii/Vs, enfolds a melody that is almost a chord solo itself. As a child I knew that eventually I would play these multi-line solos that come out sounding like chords. The melody takes you there, but the chords portend the future--easily decerned by a master of harmony, but obvious to everyone by the second verse.
