Story Behind the Song
Some people just don't get it. Governments, organizations and individuals alike continually try to implement the same failed policies and practices in life. Even worse, many of them are willing to fervently defend their madness, even in the face of irrefutable proof that their ways are flawed and destined for disaster.
I, for one, don't have time for this garbage. We humans only get one shot at living, and I'd like to make the most of that single precious opportunity. Unfortunately, too many seem perfectly satisfied to just waste it.
Lyrics
Daylight breaks and darkness falls
Like a circle never ends
Yet we are finite, we are sand
On the shore of all that was and is.
*
So what's up with this
Catastrophe you've caused
All the whining and crying
That follows your flaws
What did you expect to
Find at the end?
Life's not a rainbow
Maybe to end to to begin.
**
So I think it's best
To just shut your mouth
Not even you know
What's coming out
Too bad this life is
Just a blink of an eye
When you never learn
And waste my time.
Our days are numbered, yes, it's true
But it seems that you forgot
You'll never know what life can be
When you call yourself a god. (*) (**)
