	The first single off "Windows to the World" written by Stuart Smith, Howard Leese of Heart and Jamie Kyle who wrote Heart's top 10 hit "Stranded" as well as a number of songs for Faith Hill. The harmony solo in the middle is performed by Stuart Smith & Howard Leese together.

	Story Behind the Song "Worlds Apart was the first song recorded for "Windows to the World" and has been designated as the first single. Stuart came up with the main riff and title the gave it to producer Howard Leese who added the verses. Stuart later added the music for the bridge but they were having trouble getting the right feel lyrically so they passed it on the singer/songwriter, Jamie Kyle who had written "Stranded" for Heart as as well as a number of hits for Faith Hill who finished it off. As Howard had played the harmony guitar solo with Stuart on the title track of the first album, "Stuart Smith's Heaven & Earth" it was decided to invite him to do the same on this one.
