	Story Behind the Song When I was in middle school, I would stop at a candy store on 36th street and Colorado Avenue. This was also the border between Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs(Manitou means spirit to the Native American). Colorado Springs had cowboys and Manitou had hippies. One day,on my way home from school, after returning from summer vacation, I went to the candy store and found that it had turned into a health food market. This was a place that the Manitou hippies made home. The hippie-bohemian-artist's that I met at this store captured and fascinated me with profound influence-- I found the gypsy in me.
