	Story Behind the Song This song is for my father, Stan Daurio. `Lord Gort' was the nick name given him by his brothers. I had recorded the backing tracks to this 16 minute piece over a number of years in the early 90s but they never had a focus. A few days after my dad passed away, in July 1994, I picked up my guitar and played this solo.
