	Story Behind the Song I came up with a simple folk-ish melody in 3/4 time, then experimented with different arrangements. It began as more of a techno piece, but I finally settled on a symphonic new age style with contemporary celtic influence. I was afraid the title would remind people of salad dressing, but in the end I decided "Seven Seas" best captured the journey-like atmosphere of the song.
