Story Behind the Song
This song was written for a friend who lost a close friend. The lyrics are an outflow of what words God placed on my heart on the night that I heard the news. There is an "unplugged" version of the song which was originally done on "Cakewalk" as a sketchy recording immediately after it was written. The original recording was copied only once and was given to this friend as personal comfort the best way i knew how--through music. I do not even have a copy of this recording since I lost it on my hard drive so good luck trying to find it (if you're even interested).
Lyrics
i know that when it's raining, it's hard to see the tears He cries for you...but He's all you need. and when your heart is screaming, it's hard to hear the still small voice whisper His truth, but He is all you need. His strength is perfect. even when your strength is gone. His strength is all you need. and when you've gone astray, its hard for you to choose the better way, but He's all you need. and when your heart is breaking, its hard to know that there might be brighter days, but still He's all you need. His hope is perfect, even when your hope is gone, His hope is all you need. still He stands with open arms. still He stands calling...He's waiting. His love is perfect, though you think its not enough. His Love is all you need.
