	Story Behind the Song This one is pretty straight forward! I still have a "day job" in addition to my music career, and there are plenty of days when I'd really rather not show up. This song is for those days. Bet you have them too! Lyrics I don't want to go to work tomorrow. I didn't want to go to work today. I can't remember when I really felt like going in there But I get up and I go in every day. Alarm goes off at 5 a.m. and I can't believe my eyes. But it's been that way so many years, it should be no surprise. I'm working just to pay the bills and I never make a dent. I got my paycheck yesterday, and now I don't have a cent. And I don't want to go to work tomorrow. I didn't want to go to work today. I can't remember when I really felt like going in there But I get up and I go in every day. Someday I'd like to not show up, and never even call. Just stay at home and lie in bed, not get up at all. But I've gotta buy the groceries. Gotta pay the rent. I'll have to go to work next week, 'cuz this week's money's spent. But I don't want to go to work tomorrow. I didn't want to go to work today. I can't remember when I really felt like going in there But I get up and I go in just the same. The boss is really not too bad. The work's not all that hard. You could say I've got no reason to complain. But there's more to life than what I do for the money that I earn. Sometimes I feel like I'm pissin' in the rain. So, I don't want to go to work tomorrow. I didn't want to go to work today. I can't imagine that I ever felt like going in there But I get up and I go in just the same. And I probably will, until I go insane. I don't want to go, please don't make me go, to the office...
