Yet again, following the Salmonella crisis mishandling, the small slaughterhouse mishandling, the BSE mishandling, the politicians and officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAFF) are mishandling this crisis or Foot & Mouth disease; turning our country into a disaster area, wrecking livelihoods and putting farming families through mental torture - quite unnecessarily.
