	Another song from Syndrome's heavier side, Syn is a menacing, groove-heavy head-banger. It's also the first song that the band wrote after acquiring vocalist Jason Hamilton.

	Story Behind the Song The song came about during a rehearsal, when vocalist Jason Hamilton picked up a bass guitar to try and convey a melody he had in his head. From the single-note line that Jason came up with, guitarist Sean Dove developed an entire song within the course of a few minutes. Lyrics where completed shortly thereafter, making Syn the most immediate song in the Syndrome catalog.
