A longing for much need change while sitting in a lifeless town. Feeling lonely amongst those I know so well. Watching the sun set, I feel neglected by everyone. The only person in this world I love is not around, is “Far Away”. | MP3.com CD: Far Away - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
Written in April 1997 this song originated while sitting at home alone, playing the piano, playing the guitar. The first thing which came to my mind was the melody which later became the chorus part of the song. Melanies sweet voice turns the song into a real desire to just sit in the car and drive away, Far Away!
Lyrics
FAR AWAY
Written by Tomi Ruppel
Far far far away
Im walking down the streets
Of a little town - far far away
Nobody is here of all my friends
Im so far away
Im killing my time
Doing this and that
Watching the sun go down
I feel like a lonely stranger
All alone by my self
Dont you feel like a lonely stranger
Sometimes in this world
Id rather be on the road for a while
Far far away
Id rather be on the road for a while
Far far away...
Far far far away
Here I am and here I come
Im so far away
I search for you, I search for you
Why youre so far away
Tell me please where youve gone
Lets watch the sun go down
I feel like a lonely stranger
All alone by myself
Dont you feel like a lonely stranger
Sometimes in this world
(Chorus)
(Chorus)
I feel like a lonely stranger
All alone by myself
Dont you feel like a
Lonely stranger
Sometimes in this world
(Chorus)
