	A sudden tragedy on the honeymoon: On his wedding night, David Furness (Johnny Mack Brown) is visited by the police and accused of theft. In desperation, he leaps to his death while his wife (Greta Garbo) watches in horror. A Woman of Affairs (1928) was directed by Clarence Brown, who worked with Garbo on seven of her films at MGM.
