	Story Behind the Song Nitai is a name for Lord Nityananda, who was Mahaprabu's closest associate and an incarnation of Lord Baslarama, the first expansion of Krsna. Gauranga is another name for Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the Golden Avater of Krsna Conciousness movement (Gaura means 'golden'). Appearing in the small village of Naia, India on Februaryt 18th, 1486, He was recognised as an incarnation of both the Supreme Lord Krsna and Sri Mati Radharani in one body and had a beuatiful complexion of molten gold.
