Story Behind the Song
My grandfather, Joseph, was a steel-worker who really should have been a philosopher, and used to invent deep, philosophical maxims for my dad as a child. The ones my dad remembered, he taught me when I was little. This one, "I am who I think you think I am" seemed an appropriate way to finish off the album.
The music started life as minimalistic backing for a local yoga teacher's ashtanga exercises, but I liked it too much to abandon it, so I re-wrote pasrts of it, and layered it up a bit more.
Lyrics
I am not who I think I am.
I am not who you think I am.
I am who I think you think I am.
