Story Behind the Song
um, well i dont really remember what motivated me for this song, but something, you can be sure of that. the lyrics are there to make a difference. the song was written again at my house. i dont think it took that long to write, there were two more lines to each verse, but no one liked it that way, so i just randomly took two lines out of each. so if the words dont make much sense thats probably why. it took another half a day to record.
Lyrics
(VERSE 1)
the time came for us to start
we played good for the most part
we saw a couple connected at heart
we played so they wouldnt fall apart
(CHORUS)
to make a difference it doesnt take much
just a hand and a shoulder is all it takes
a hand to lift up and a shoulder for cruch
cuase love always hurts and regret always aches
(VERSE 2)
the next show was at a pool party
there was enough scotch and bacardi
there was marty, hail and hardy
to raise his spirits, we played a set gladly
(VERSE 3)
finally the last show of the day
it was at a meeting for the AA
there was a gurl who seemed astray
for her, we decided to play
