	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song in college I think. I tried to express some of the frustration I was feeling. I was weary and tired of committing the same sins over and over again (see Romans 7:21+). I didn't want to be lulled to sleep by the things of the world. I didn't want to compromise. This song had a lot of "originals" to it. The original title was "TV song", because I played it on tv--and thank God I was the only one who knew. That was quite the experience. Lyrics These weary hands have looked for Ways to please this selfish soul A tired game I cant play Those things will never make me whole Im so frustrated Im so sedated But sleep is so far From my mind I will stand and fight, until this flesh is crucified. These weary hands they hang down In brokenness for you they long But in this time I thank you Cause when Im weak you make me strong Just a little note--The original lyrics to both of the verses were as follows: "In flesh I sow, I speak I speak of flesh in self I sow And in this time I wish to Tear this flesh from off my soul." Yeah, so it was kinda hard to follow.
